Britt Leake is a PhD candidate whose work blends empirical comparative politics and political theory. He holds a BA/MA in international studies and BAs in Arabic and French from the University of Oklahoma. His dissertation project tries to adapt Rawlsian public reason, and political theory on social contracts and multicultural democracy more broadly, into an empirical theory of when and why culturally diverse democracies succeed or fail.
